Ambetter — Not Currently Accepted

Vaxa Mental Health is not currently in-network with Ambetter.

We have applied to participate in the Ambetter provider network but have been informed that the network currently has sufficient providers in our service area.

If you are an Ambetter member and would like access to services at Vaxa Mental Health, you are welcome to contact Ambetter Member Services using the number on the back of your insurance card and request that Vaxa Mental Health be considered for network participation.

While member requests do not guarantee credentialing approval, they may help communicate the need for additional provider options.

Important Update for Headway Patients

Transitioning Away From the Headway Platform

Vaxa Mental Health is transitioning away from the Headway platform due to changes in Headway's provider agreement.

We apologize for any inconvenience this transition may cause and are committed to helping patients maintain continuity of care.

You have the right to choose your mental health provider.

If you prefer to continue receiving services through Headway, you may select another participating provider through their platform.

If you would like to continue your care with Michelle Dreiling, PMHNP-BC, at Vaxa Mental Health, you may access our independent patient portal through SimplePractice.

Continuing Your Care With Vaxa Mental Health

1. Access your patient portal. Use the email address associated with your Vaxa Mental Health/SimplePractice account to sign in or activate your portal access.

2. Request your next appointment. Schedule through your SimplePractice patient portal or use the Request Appointment feature on this website.

3. Confirm your insurance. Our office will verify whether your current insurance plan is accepted through Vaxa Mental Health independently of Headway.

Your Medical Records & Privacy

Clinical records created and maintained through Headway remain subject to applicable medical record retention and privacy requirements. Vaxa Mental Health also maintains its own clinical records for services documented in our practice.

If you choose to transfer your care to another provider, we will assist with appropriate records requests and authorized transfers in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
